History: Destroyer
Preview of version: 2
Destroyers are fast, maneuverable and long-endurance warships. In the 21st century's naval operations these are the heaviest and most powerful ships. The destroyers are designed to escort larger vessels in a fleet or battle group and defend them against the enemy's smaller, short-range attackers (other combat vessels, submarines and aircrafts).
Currently only four countries (United States, France, Russia, and Peru) operate cruisers. Today's destroyers are equivalent in size with the cruisers of the World War II era but they have more firepower and can carry nuclear missiles.
