Almazora Motors Corporation also known as Almazora or AMC (estabilished in 1925) is a truck and bus body manufacturer based in Carmona, Cavite, Philippines. Based on current annual vehicle sales, the company is the largest bus body manufacturer in the Philippines.

History

The company was initially founded in 1900 when Canado Almazora started selling horse-driven carriages under Carroceria de Almazora. Later in 1925, Perfecto Almazora, the son of Canado took over the company and started building passenger buses under the Almazora Motor Corporation (AMC) brand. One of their well known products was the Jardinera, a wooden bus with seven long benches in rows and two entry points.

Products

Besides their own buses Almazora Motors builds bus bodies for other international manufacturers such as Mitsubishi Fuso Track and Bus Corporation, Man Truck & Bus, Isuzu, Mercedes-Benz, Hino Motors. They also build the "Family Business" (FB) variant of the Mitsubishi L300 van.

The product line is completed by special purpose trucks such as fire-engines, dump trucks, cargo trucks and ambulances.
