On the 24th of June 1982 a British Airways? Boeing 747-200? with flight number 009 en route from London Heathrow LHR EGLL? to Auckland International Airport AKL NZAA? flies into volcanic ash loosing all engines. The flight crew manages to restart engines and land the plane safely
