Oldsmobile was an American brand of automobiles owned by General Motors. Ransom E. Olds founded the Olds Motor Co. in 1897. During it's 107 year history Oldsmobile produced more then 35.2 million cars and when it was phased out in 2004 it was the oldest surviving American automobile marque and among the oldest in the world, after Daimler, Peugot and Tatra.
