The Sukhoi Su-24, known under NATO reporting name Fencer, is a supersonic, all-weather bomber aircraft. It was developed in the Soviet Union in the 1960's by Sukhoi. Among the characteristics of the Sukhoi Su-24 we can mention the variable-sweep wing, twin-engines and a side-by-side seating arrangement for its two crew. Also this aircraft was was among the first of the USSR's aircraft to carry an integrated digital navigation/attack system. Currently the Sukhoi Su-24 remains in service with the Russian Air Force, Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, Kazakh Air Force, Ukrainian Air Force, Syrian Air Force and some other countries.
