A tractor is a vehicle designed and built to deliver high tractive effort at slow speeds, for the purpose of hauling a trailer or an implement used in agriculture or construction. Usually the term tractor is used to describe a farm vehicle that can tow an implement behind or it can be mounted on the front of the tractor.
