Air Ontario Flight 1363 was an Air Ontario flight operated by a Fokker F28 Fellowship airplane, registered C-FONF which crashed near the city of Dryden, Ontario during take-off just hundreds of meters from the airport. On the 10th of March 1989 the airplane was en route from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg via Dryden. The crash happened just after 49 seconds from liftoff as the plane was unable to gain altitude because ice and snow was accumulating on the airplane's wings. The airplane trimmed the treetops and crashed, out of the 65 passengers 21 died instantly including pilot and copilot and one flight attendant.
