The Volkswagen Atlas is an upcoming sport utility vehicle from german automobile maker Volkswagen. Presented at the end of October 2016 the Atlas will be produced at Volkswagen's Chattanooga plant in Tennessee, United States. The car is focused on the North American market and is expected that sales will begin in early 2017. The Atlas will be available with traverse-mounted four-cylinder engines or the narrow angle V6 engine. Currently the Atlas is the largest vehicle produced on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform.
The Atlas will also be sold in China under the name Volkswagen Teramont and will be introduced sometime in the future to Russia as well.
