Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (IATA code: BUD, ICAO code: LHBP), also known in the past as Budapest Ferihegy International Airport, is the international airport serving the Hungarian capital city of Budapest. The airport is the largest of Hungary's five international airports. The airport is located 16 km (10 mi) southeast of downtown Budapest and was named after the most famous Hungarian composer Franz Liszt (Liszt Ferenc in Hungarian) on the 200th anniversary of his birth.

On 2 May 2016 Budapest Airport officially announced that a public procurement was started for the construction of a new pier (Pier
