- 19 March 2016 - Flydubai Flight 981 operated by a Boeing 737-800 from Dubai to Rostov-on-Don suffered a fatal crash during a second landing attempt in bad weather at Rostov on Don Airport. The airplane carried 55 passengers and 7 crew, all of them perished in the accident.
