The Mil Mi-26 known under the NATO reporting name Halo is a Soviet/Russian heavy transport helicopter. It was built by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant and is currently in service in both civilian and military roles. To this date it is the biggest and most powerful helicopter ever to have gone into mass production.
