Qatar Airways is the flag carrier of Qatar. It is operated by the ((Qatar Airways Company and its headquartered in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha, Qatar. The main hub of Qatar Airways is the Hamad International Airport in Doha. From this central hub the company operates flights to more then 150 destinations with a fleet of 167 aircraft (Q4 2015).

The Qatar Airways Group currently employs more than 31,000 people, out of which 19,000 work directly for Qatar Airways. Since October 2013 Qatar Airways is a member of the Oneworld, being the first Gulf carrier to join one of the three airline alliances.
