Turkish Airlines (Turkish: Türk Hava Yolları) is an airline in Turkey, and the national flag carrier airline of the country. Its headquarters are located at the Turkish Airlines General Management Building, on the grounds of Atatürk Airport in Yeşilköy, Bakırköy, Istanbul. Since 1 April 2008 Turkish Airlines is member of Star Alliance.

The airline operates scheduled services to 282 destination (as of January 2016), being the fourth-largest carrier in the world if we count the number of destinations operated and also the airline that flies to most countries. Turkish Airlines has its operations concentrated on Turkey's main airports: Istanbul Ataturk Airport, Esenboga Airport, Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Adnan Menderes Airport.

The callsign of the airline is TURKISH which replaced the old callsign TURKAIR which was in use until April 2010.
