- 25 October 2015 - Air Dolomiti replaces Lufthansa on the route to Munich Airport MUC EDDM
2016
- 19 January 2016 - Wizz Air announces that it will start operate a flight to Bucharest Airport starting from 22 July 2016. The flight will be operated six times a week (no flight on Saturday) and will depart Cluj at 20:35 with arrival at Otopeni at 21:25. The return flight will depart from Bucharest at 21:55 and land at 22:50.
- 5 February 2016 - Blue Air announced that it will start operating flights from Bucharest to Cluj Napoca International Airport starting with 3 June 2016
