Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (IATA code: BUD, ICAO code: LHBP), also known in the past as Budapest Ferihegy International Airport, is the international airport serving the Hungarian capital city of Budapest. The airport is the largest of Hungary's five international airports. The airport is located 16 km (10 mi) southeast of downtown Budapest and was named after the most famous Hungarian composer Franz Liszt (Liszt Ferenc in Hungarian) on the 200th anniversary of his birth.

New Pier B (tender announced)
On 2 May 2016 Budapest Airport officially announced that a public procurement was started for the construction of a new pier (Pier that will be connected to Terminal 2. The 16.9 million euro investment will add about 10,000 square meters to the existing passenger area of the terminal. The physical construction will start in January 2017 and is expected to be finalized for summer 2018. sourceTerminals
