History: Mil Mi12

The Mil Mi-12 (also known as the Mil V-12, NATO reporting name Homer) is the largest helicopter ever built. Not to be confused with the Mil Mi26 which is the largest helicopter ever mass produced while the Mil Mi-12 had only 2 prototypes ever built. This helicopter type was designed and built by the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant
