Mil Helicopters is the brand name of Russia's biggest helicopter producer Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant (design bureau prefix Mi). The company is named after the constructor Mikhail Mil.
Mil is part of the Euromil joint venture with european helicopter producer Eurocopter.
Mil Helicopters merged with several other russian helicopter producers like Kamov and Rostvertol to form Oboronprom Corp in 2006. They retained the Mil brand, but the new company closed down overlapping product facilities.
