Dubai International Airport (IATA : DXB, ICAO : OMDB ) is the main airport of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is currently the world's busiest airport by international passenger traffic. It's also the 3rd busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic.

At the airport
- 3 August 2016 - Emirates Flight 521 operated with a Boeing 777-300 aircraft registered as A6-EMW crash landed at Dubai International Airport. According to initial reports the aircraft's landing gear collapsed upon landing.
Flights that originated at Dubai International Airport
- 19 March 2016 - Flydubai Flight 981 operated by a Boeing 737-800 from Dubai International Airport to Rostov-on-Don suffered a fatal crash during a second landing attempt in bad weather at Rostov on Don Airport. The airplane carried 55 passengers and 7 crew, all of them perished in the accident.
