Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) (IATA: KUL, ICAO: WMKK) is the main international airport in Malaysia and one of the most important airports in South East Asia. It is located in Sepang district of Selangor, about 45 kilometres (28 mi) from Kuala Lumpur city centre and serves the Greater Klang Valley conurbation.

Outbound flights
- 8 March 2014 - Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared while en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, the aircraft has not been found since (July 2014)
Inbound flights
- 17 July 2014 - Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, a Boeing 777-200ER performing a scheduled international passenger flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. From the first available informations it seems that the airplane was shot down by a yet unidentified party.
