List of Volkswagen plants and facilities

Volkswagen Group and its subsidiaries operate a large number of factories in many countries across six continents. This list provides an overview not only of the current factories but also historic (closed) factories of Volkswagen.

The major brands of Volkswagen Group that are represented in this list are: Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Porsche, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Ducati, Lamborghini, Bentley, Bugatti, Scania.

As of 2016 Volkswagen Group is the second largest automaker in the world, trailing behind Toyota which took this title from Volkswagen in 2015. Across its 61 production plants, the more then 370 000 employees of Volkswagen produced 26 600 vehicles every day.

1964 7800 Was the final place where the Volkswagen Beetle was produced in Germany before the production was shifted to the Puebla plant in Mexico. Currently it produces the Passat and the Arteon. Has its own harbor which imports and re-distributes vehicles produced in overseas plants.
